Orange County Hot Pot Bubbles Up in Bressi Ranch!

Repost from sandiegoeater.com:

Specializing in Japanese shabu-shabu, in which meat, seafood, and vegetables are cooked in individual pots of flavored broth, Tabu Shabu operates popular locations in Huntington Beach and Costa Mesa. Last spring, the interactive eatery announced its first venture into San Diego, which would replace the long-standing Paesano’s restaurant on 30th Street. The North Park restaurant is currently scheduled to open as soon as early February.

Founder and CEO Jeff Chon is also bringing the concept to North County with a 1,446-square-foot outpost coming to The Square at Bressi Ranch. Chon tells Eater that the inland Carlsbad location should be completed by May 2020.

Mike Spiky of Location Matters facilitated the lease and shared, ”I’m excited for Jeff and his next San Diego location — this location will likely have very long lines. This style of cuisine is very differentiated in the trade area and will really bring something special to Carlsbad and North County. “
